The Goals of Champions...

 Okay maybe not champions, but I figure I should probably get some goals on paper, that's usually how these things go right?  Why set goals?  When I google "Goal Setting" - the AI spit's this out: "Goal setting is the process of creating a plan to achieve a desired outcome. It involves defining specific objectives, tracking progress, and taking action to reach those objectives."  So in order to start the journey, we need to know where the (initial) destination is, and be honest with ourselves on where we are currently. There's no point setting a goal of losing 10 kilos, if you're not willing to weigh yourself, or clean up your finances if you never check your bank account. The purpose of goals is to give help us focus on what's important and what you want to achieve, give you direction so when you're feeling lost or unmotivated you know what step to take next, and give you accountability to track your progress and see just how far you've ...

A Test Run - It's been a while. . . .

We are one month into 2025 - so wild to think I blinked and missed the entirety of January (until the 26th of course). Things have not been the most fabulous in the past few weeks, just chaos everywhere I turn, so I decided to make a mark this year and start doing something to track progresses, since the past ... how ever long it's been, I can't see/feel any progress made, and feel like I'm stuck in the same repeating cycles of joblessness, hopelessness, loneliness, and the like.... Not another heckin diary!! Woah, no, no, no - this is not a diary of deep, dark, unprocessed trauma, and thoughts that need psychiatric analysis hold your horses, cowboy! But in saying that, it will be my corner of the internet where I can share wins, and undoubtably losses, hits and misses and what ever else the cool kids call it these days, so I can look back and revel in the achievements of yonder, and materialise what I have done, (or not done) in the year of 2025. Happy Lunar New Year, yeah...
